Check in and check out with Event Hub

Door counts matter, but they should not live in a silo. When check-in happens inside Podz, attendance sits next to the event, the roster, and the commitments that follow up when someone misses.

Why Event Hub check-in beats a spreadsheet

  • Coordinators see the same roster admins enrolled — no retyping names at the door.
  • Filter quickly when lines form; keyboard-friendly toggles keep the flow moving.
  • Session history stays with the event for follow-up commitments and reporting.

Watch: filter the roster and toggle check-in

Open Event Hub for your session, filter participants, and press Enter or tap a row to check people in or out.

Step-by-step (matches the video)

  • From Events, open the session you are running (for example Season Kickoff Night).
  • Land in Event Hub check-in view with the enrolled roster.
  • Use the filter field to narrow the list when the room is busy.
  • Press Enter or tap a row to toggle check-in status for each participant.

Close the loop the same week

Attendance signals who showed; commitments carry the follow-through. Pair check-in with a owned commitment — contact no-shows, confirm makeup options — so the data turns into action.
